Hunter...the Jedi

We spent the morning at California Adventure and that was fun! We did "A Bug's Life" and also the Grizzly River Run. And then Gabby, my mom, Chris, Dan, Blake and Steph rode Tower of Terror twice!! I am to scared of that!

Hunter and Nana on the bumper cars

Riley and I on the Bumper Cars

Riley and Stephenie on the Caterpillar...that's the only ride that she wanted to get on!

Pretty Smiles from the Taylors!

This is what we looked like....two double strollers, three single strollers, and a bunch of crazies!

Edna was very excited to have her picture taken with Elastigirl.....she even got her autograph!

Then we headed over to Disneyland where Hunter and Blake participated in the Jedi Training Academy. They got picked to go up and be "padawans" or whatever. Of course being the crazy mom that I am...I totally cried watching Hunter...He's getting so big and he was taking it soooo seriously. I have it all on video and if I figure out how to post video I will because it is just too cute! So he learned his "moves" and then he got to fight...DARTH VADER!!! He was so excited. And the look on his face....he meant business! Blake got to fight Darth Maul and also did a great job! It was Blake's birthday so he got a great present (disneyland and being a jedi!) Then they got a little diploma that stated they had completed the Jedi Training Academy. Hunter just likes to watch the video now of himself!

Hail to the Princess Aurora....

Riley of course is no where to be seen!
oh Riley Roo!
Sleeping Guety...as Riley says it.
Stephenie's Favorite
And Reagan of course was too busy eating to take pictures!!

Tuesday started with breakfast with the Princesses. It was so fun! I want to be a princess at Disneyland! Riley of course of terrified of them, but she still was glad she saw them. They were all so nice and just like the movies!

Monday Monday

Ok so we started out on Monday to Disneyland. Of course we leave an hour and a half later than I wanted to, but that's ok! So we get to the mountains outside of San Diego and it is WINDY! I am a little nervous as it is to drive thru there, but with the wind I was more nervous. Then of course as we get higher in elevation the rain and fog kick in. It was pretty thick fog! So again a little nervous. But we made it thru with a potty break in Viejas. We then get to San Diego. By then the rain had stopped....but my windshield wipers didn't! We looked like dorks with the sun out and wipers going! So i finally ended up having to take the fuse out so they would stop. So then we stopped at the 2 story TARGET!!! I also love Target...it's right up there with disneyland! And Stephenie and I went crazy in the travel size section! but it was fun!
We then headed to Disneyland finally..checked into our hotel and went to disneyland! We met up with my sister Gabby, her husband Dan and four boys - Brandon, Blake, Jacob, and Joshua. My mom and dad were also there with us! It's great to go in a group! We immediately did Astro Blasters, Autopia, Peter Pan, and Indiana Jones! It was a great night.......
I suck at Astro Blasters!

Hunter and Brandon

Stephenie

So first off I want to tell Stephenie THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming with me to Disneyland! Paul is unable to go on vacation during produce season, so Stephenie came along with me and was a huge help to me with my three kiddos. Riley only wanted Stephenie to hold her and push her stroller (which was another exciting adventure...right steph?). So THANKS STEPH! IT WAS FUN! Next time though we need to sing more!

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

Ok so for those of you who know me...this isn't a surprise, but I LOVE DISNEYLAND! I never get tired of going there! So for a while now my family has been planning a big trip to disneyland, and I just got back!!! IT WAS SO FUN! So i'm gonna do my posts by day just because each day was an adventure in itself!

SPAM

Ok so am I the only one that gets weird spam....Just a sample of the spam email that I got today...
*Drop 12 pounds in 2 days -----(SIGN ME UP!)
*Envrionment Friendly Kitty Litter-----(huh?)
*Look good and feel great with Green tea, Oprah does! - (well then I better too i guess)
*Flush up to 20lbs and flatter tummy--- (these are by far my favorite!!! especially since the email is coloncure@ I'm not kidding when i say i deleted 5 of them today!!! So apparently I need to be worried about this)

and of course tons more for sales from golfshoes, to harbor freight, to potterybarn kids (ok i like those), to work at ebay or be an online rebate processor, or check my credit score! oh and the ever popular "I won a $500 gift card to (insert any store name)

Anyways...as you can tell i get a lot of SPAM! But I just hit delete and go on with my day! Sometimes I try to unsubscribe, but I don't really know if it works...Oh well...Just thought I'd share this very random thought that I had today!

Hunter & Riley & Taylor

Hunter and Riley and Taylor are crazy! Hence "The Crazy Nelson Family" (Gee I wonder where they get it from! So Paul got me a new digital camera for Christmas so it's been fun to take pictures of the kids whenever I want, instead of not taking any because the camera would take 5 minutes to warm up between shots. So i just wanted to share some craziness with you all!

One day Paul and I were "dancing" - well as much as I can get Paul to dance anways...but then Hunter wanted to join in so he and Riley started dancing. It was so cute! It made us want to keep them for one more day! (Note Zac Efron in the background!)

We have a tradition in our house that we always have sugar powdered donuts (yes I know that's backwards but that's how hunter says it) Well Riley loves her donuts. It's always all over her mouth! She always ends up looking like Tyrone.....(for viewers of chapelle show...you'll get it) - this is a very mild case of the 'tyrones' - usually it's really really bad!

We love drumsticks! Sometimes a little too much!

The Taylors!

Paul started calling Taylor "the taylors" and now everything has a "the" in front of it.....
the rileys, the hunters, the mommies, ....etc, etc.
And as Stephenie would say...Taylor has devil eyebrows!

Ryan's Birthday Party

OK so I know this is a little late, but Ryan had her birthday party on January 12. She turned 4! So even though I put the wrong address on the invitations most everyone was able to get there! Edna got a jumpy thingy and the kids had a great time! For as much as I make fun of people that get jumpy houses....they are definitely worth their money. There wasn't even a need for a pinata. The kids didn't even want to break it because they wanted to keep jumping! So here some pictures of that day!

Reagan is not afraid of anything!!!

This is what the jumpy house looked like....it had a slide!

Even Chris couldn't resist....who am I kidding...we all got on it!

The infamous pinata that WOULD NOT BREAK!!!! Notice Ryan thought she was above blindfolds! So she wanted to look like Rambo instead.

Deja Vu

Ok so today I was doing something and I had one of those moments of "deja vu." But then as I got to thinking...was it really "deja vu" or do I just always do the same things.... So I started thinking..... When I had my moment I was rinsing a bottle to get ready to make a new one, looking at my TV and Disney Channel was on, and holding Taylor. Hmmmm.......I think I just do a lot of the same stuff! Am I the only one that feels that way?

National Taded Awareness

Ok so for Christmas, Edna made us these books that signify all that we stand for! Which really is nothing... So as we remember things that we left out I'm going to add them to my blog so that we can do National Taded Awareness...Volume Two...

So add on to the list Crazies!

Edna - Hemi
Gabby - I'm not in the mood to change the popote!

New Year's Resolutions

They say you're more apt to keeping your resolutions if you write them down. So let's see if that's true! So here are mine...of course there are the normal ones, but I also hope so helpful ones for me and my family!

Physical Goals: Lose 15 pounds so that I can finally get my new wardrobe!

Spiritual Goals: Finish my Personal Progress finally! Read the Book of Mormon! And do better about attending Church - not just being in the building! (I go every Sunday....I just need to WANT to go to Sunday School and Relief Society! - of course my first Sunday this year I had to play the piano in primary and Relief Society!) I want to actually read all of the Lessons in the Teaching of the Prophet Joseph Smith! I want to listen and read ALL of the General Conference Talks! I want to strengthen my testimony!

Temporal Goals: I really want to work on my Food Storage! I want to work on being a better Mother! Spending more quality time with my babies - playing with them! I want to keep a cleaner more organized house! I want to wash a load of laundry every day so that I don't have to do marathon loads on Saturday! I want to do my job right at school. I want to fulfill my callings to the best of my ability! I want to be a good wife! I want to keep a budget! (I hate budgets!!!) I WANT TO CLEAN MY OFFICE!!!

So that's about what I want for this year! It sounds very similar to other years, but I have a completely different attitude about it this year! It seems that with each baby I have the more I feel that I am behind in everything! I need to catch up! I just need to DO it, instead of saying that I am going to! So feel free to hold me accountable to what I'm saying! What are you resolutions!?!?!?!

Happy New Year!

Well we had a great Christmas! It was nice and relaxed. Paul's parents were out of town so that was one less thing to do on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! None of my out-of-town Sisters were here so we had a nice and "quiet" Christmas Eve Dinner at my mom's house. Well as quiet as it can be with Hunter, Ryan, Riley and Reagan...oh yeah and Griscel! Just kidding! That night Hunter and Riley went to sleep pretty well...in fact I'm the one that got up at 4am not being able to go back to sleep because I was so excited! Santa came and he did in fact bring a "intendo the wii" SO hunter was so excited about that! Riley got her princess castle that she had asked Santa for as well! All in all it was a great Christmas! This is a before picture.

Here are some pictures of the kiddos with their new found treasures!
